The South Coast

After a week's delay heading through the Bras D'ors we were finally in Newfoundland! The south coast is know for big fjords, waterfalls, and resettled towns, all of which we get to see!

After crossing from the Bras D'or lakes we finally arrive at the south coast of Newfoundland where large vistas, fog, and neato anchorages await

Northbound to... Bras D'ors?

Leaving Halifax we originally were aiming direct for St. Pierre et Miquelon. The weather prevaled though and we made a detour once again through the Bras D'or Lakes and made landfall in Newfoundland before heading east again.

Back in Halifax to get some boat jobs done and of course to see many a people! We meet up with some old friends and make new ones in Canada's port on the East Coast.

After our day at Carter's Beach it was time to take advantage of wind in the right direction and make some miles to Halifax.

Back at another spot we stopped at on our way south, we spend a day at a Nova Scotia beach with new friends about the yacht SeaFinn

After arriving it felt like we had just did a little blip down south for a bit but returned right back into the cruising scene as we arrived back in Shelburne and settled into the routine of meeting people and exploring
